چکیده

Results of resistivity and Hall effect measurements in Lal_.Ca.Co03 (0.1< z <0,5) epitaxkd films and ceramics are presented. The spontaneous Hall effect in Lal_ZCasCo03 (LCCO) is observed for ferromagnetic samples with z ~0.2. The Hall effect is largest near the magnetic percolation threshold z=O.2. For 2=0.2, tains a large value may be applied to the Iow-field slope of the Hall resistivity, PZV/(PO~), atof 2x 10-6m3/C below the Curie temperature TC, which sensitive low-field detection. Except near the magnetic percolation threshold, the longitudinal resistivity of LCCO decreases with increasing field at all temperatures. Anomalous temperature-dependent magnetoresistance occurs in the sample with z=O.2, which may be associated with the spin-state transition in LCCO.

خواص ترابردی مغناطیسی واثر هال در نمونه هایGdpr-123

Single phase polycrystalline Gd1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7-δ samples with x=0.05 , 0.10, and 0.15 have been prepared by standard solid state reaction technique and characterized by XRD and SEM analysis. The electrical resistivity, Hall effect and magnetoresistance measurements have been on the samples. The electrical resistivity measurements indicate a reduction of transition temperature (Tc) and an incre...

Intergranular giant magnetoresistance in a spontaneously phase separated perovskite oxide.

We present small-angle neutron scattering data proving that, on the insulating side of the metal-insulator transition, the doped perovskite cobaltite La(1-x)Sr(x)CoO(3) phase separates into ferromagnetic metallic clusters embedded in a nonferromagnetic matrix. This induces a hysteretic magnetoresistance, with temperature and field dependence characteristic of intergranular giant magnetoresistan...

Electronic Transport in La-ca Manganites

So called colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) manganites of composition A 1−xB 2+ x MnO3 (A: La, Nd; B: Ca, Sr, Pb) have been subject of intense research during the last years, especially after their re-discovery [1], in part due to their potential use as device applications in the magnetic storage industry, and in part because of the complexity of the mechanisms responsible for unusual, interdepe...

Oscillations of the transport properties in Ni /Co superlattices

Although metallic multilayers have recently attracted much attention, especially since the discovery of giant magnetoresistance in Fe /Cr multilayers [1], only a small number of true superlattice effects have been experimentally observed. These are the appearance of superlattice Bragg peaks in X-ray diffraction [2], the collective behavior of magnons in magnetic/non-magnetic superlattices [3], ...

Unconventional GMR angular dependence using a compensated ferrimagnet

We have designed a GdCo/Cu/NiFe Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) trilayer, the magnetoresistance of which does not always depend on the angle between the magnetisations of the electrodes. Using a GdCo ferrimagnetic alloy close to compensation, it was possible to experimentally reach the spin flop field Bsf of the ferrimagnetic layer. Below Bsf , the ferrimagnetic layer behaves as a ferromagnetic l...
